Guest guest
Yeah, the VVS was definatly a stabbing pain upon entry and long sitting. When it got to its worst I was down to wearing long skirts and no underpants, I think in this regard we had similar symptoms, but the burning and irritation that doctors mistook for vaginal infections for so long was definatly LS (pathology came back positive). My surgeon believed that my vvs may have been triggered by the atrophic vaginitis that may also have triggered my LS and the use of Depo Provera and over use of antifungal creams and antibiotics. The overuse of antibiotics was a relay killer because it messed up my vaginal flora so bad that I am still confusing NPs when I go in to check for possible yeast. Since then I have always been overly prone to getting yeast when I need to take broad spectrum antibiotics.
