Guest guest
Is estrace cream the same thing as estrodial cream? I have a script for estrace--is this what I need for pain relief? Also, can somebody please tell me what percentage I need? Is it .05% Or a low .01% from a compounding pharmacy? I have emu oil. Can I ask that it be compounded in emu oil or should I just say a non-irritating base? Is it applied daily at first or 2x/wk? does it take long to become effective? Have you tried the Estrace yet? It doesn't bother my skin, but for some they need to have it compounded. If you are going to use a local compounding pharmacy, I would call them and ask what kind of soothing base they could use. If you can't find anyone to help then contact Bellevue in MO. They are really good! Hugs, Chelle >

Guest guest
, Estradiol is the active ingredient in estrace. I get my estradiol compounded in emu oil but it's all up to the individual. Stregth depends on what you need, what your dr. prescribes. As far as time it takes, that really varies, and results do too. Most do not specifically take estrace for pain relief, but for giving the skin back it's elasticity and stretch, which can relieve pain. For example, me using estrace has helped my vestibule to heal/be more elastic, so sex is less painful. Make sense? Melinda
