I know that *dark skin* is associated with one or the other (I think thyroid, but both TSH and ACTH seem in the same synthetic pathway as melonacortin which controls pigmentation). I was at about 26mg (in Isocort) and I still think that might not have been quite enough. I *hope* I'm not quite at stage 7 yet - my stress/energy responses before starting didn't seem THAT bad (Tests will tell). With the medulla involved, would that call for aldosterone testing, and possibly other things produced there? Jim

Guest guest
Hmm. So it does appear to be an adrenal issue. Yes, I have lost most of my body hair too, eyelashes, brows and scalp also. So, the NP helped, huh? Was it a specific type of acupuncture? I would be interested to see if that could further help my adrenals. Cheri -----Original Message----- Cheri, I will also say...that I was seeing an NP who was doing accupuncture and that really worked. He got the adrenals jump started and that's what got the breasts growing again and the dryness in the skin softening and the hair on my legs starting to grow again....but it wasn't until I switched to a NP/MD who got me on Cortef and Armour that the weight started to come back....but it is a painfully slow process. thanks again for your response...Gail . Guest guest
that happened to me when I moved into stage 7. Very upsetting..Huge weight and muscle loss.my hips also got empty like 90 years old woman.my breasts were empty resting on my breast bones. I lost about 18 lbs in 6 months time.started looking like 90 years old women. wrinkles formed on face. started getting better after supplementing cortisone. bw Nil RE: White pigmentation spots on arms, legs, chest and back Cheri, Thanks so much for your response...I've read somewhere that lack of adrenal and thyroid hormones can cause breast shrinkage but it is good to know that I'm not alone. I went from a C cup to a barely A....very distressing for me. I also went from a size 10-12 to a size 0-2 in pants and small in tops....I lost 30 lbs in one month. I went from 135lbs to 105 and I'm 5' 7 " ....very shocking and
