Guest guest
Val, I honestly do hear you re: sunscreens, I have the expensive clothing that is a sunblock wear hats, use sunglasses. www.solumbra.com keeps most of me covered outside. But I am a 53 yo native with strong family history of skin cancers. I'm fair skinned and blue eyed. have already had many precancers removed. I admit, I'm scared about the cancer aspect. Never did do sunbathing as a teen young adult (thankfully) but do have a history of some pretty bad burns. I've been switching to health food store type products and Trader joes carries a product with lots of zinc. The sun even comes in through car windows when we drive. And horses are my sanity. We ride early in day. and groom in shade. Any thoughts, help ideas. Skin cancer terrifies me, I've seen it's results. kc in AZ

Guest guest
On the coconut oil open forum, they talk about coconut oil being a sunscreen. I'm going to try it out when summer gets here. I must admit though, that I use a sunscreen on the area where I had a squamous cell carcinoma. Lately, I've been sing Lugol's to get rid of suspicious looking spots on my face and it works~!
