Been a little extra gimpy and extra cranky - I think I said before thatmy right knee no longer straightens, making my right leg a good couple ofinches shorter than the left. Now, thanks in part to my EDS, my left anklepronates so far that I'm pretty much walking on the "inside" side of my leftfoot, which throws my left knee and hip out of alignment... I think I'mgoing to have to give up on Cute Shoes and go over to granny orthopedics, ifI can find any I can afford.. and still no doctor, BTW, sigh. On the GOOD side, I have a new design almost ready for publishing ( awedding sampler, and though I say so myself it's gonna be PURDY), I'm makingslow progress on spring cleaning, and on the genealogy front I seem to berelated to pretty much everybody in a castle in medieval Europe (that and $5will get me a giant Dr Pepper at the Quik Shop!), the history isfastinating... Guest guest
Yes , isn't that just the pits.. when you know they are trying to silently endure something that you enjoy? doesn't think I hear the sighs or see the foot bouncing, or other numerous things his body language expounds..... BUT they do it out of love... or fear.. and as always tells me.. "My momma didn't raise no fools!" LOL HUGS |)onna Exactly. I was terrified I would hurt somebody else (if I kilt ME, I wouldn't know much about it til Judgement Day...) But Lord help us NOT driving gets so frustrating sometimes! We about 10 miles out of town, and especially in winter I'll send a grocery list with Himself to save the extra trips. Bless him, he tries hard, but every trip there are at least a dozen phone calls about "I can't find X, Y, or Z"... And it just aint kewl you yell at him about it, you know? ;-P And then there are the places I want/need to go like the library, or the needlework store, that he hates. He takes me, but behind me I hear the heavy sighs, and I catch sight of the rolling eyeballs! Guest guest
Do ya think ? Not sure how to take the fact that I'm not only my son's mother..I am 7th cousin to one, and 9th cousin to the other but don't remember which right now (LOL) That's what happens when you're from an area with 5 founding families.... adding other families slowly but surely over the years so as to not turn us into Deliverance... But my, not sure how many greats, grandmothers had 20 living children in 1881 or 1882... and by the time she passed she had over 200 grandchildren! --- Hmmm.. that's going to be interesting, since the county history book with this tidbit of info was published in 1881.. but I don't think she actually passed until after the turn of the century. hmmm.. Haven't run across but ONE of the whole family that had MS.. go figure.. HUGS |)onna I'll let you know if I ever finish the family tree! Tonight I dug up Malcolm III of Scotland among others... :-D Basically I'm a hillbilly girl from the Georgia end of the Appalachians... Himself is 2nd-generation off the boat from Greece, but otherwise working on his background too. Gonna be fun to find out how many times we're related.
