concern about SO much hairloss

Is anyone else that is taking T3 only experiencing a LOT of hairloss??? This is

getting scary. I have been on T3 only for over a year and taking 85mcg of

cytomel 4 times a day.

Jolly,Judging by what Nick said, it may be that we are not getting the brand name Cytomel. I am noticing several hypo symptoms that I did not have before and I have been taking it for over a year. I have to check with my pharmacist but it would all make sense now. I think there was even a change in what they were charging me but did not realize cytomel had generics so I did not question it. I am also taking Cytomel, and am having hair loss, but I was having hair loss BEFORE Cytomel.

I suspect my ferritin might be low, and just had some labs done that I am waiting to get back.

My temps remain lower than normal (on the first three days of the cycle), but I am already taking 150 mcg of Cytomel, and I am reluctant to go higher, as I get some hyper symptoms.

The doc was happy with my adrenals, and only one of the four times of the day was low (midday) - which is my most tired time.

Several docs suspect Lyme, and I am working on that.
