To: MSersLife Sent: Wed, June 1, 2011 4:53:47 AMSubject: Re: Re: Happy Birthday to ! reminds me of the Christmas I had to wrap an ironing board (yes there was a time we still did that) an oil pan and a jack - my MIL was working late and I got elected - I heard a car drive in and I man handled the ironing board behind the drapes - the oil pan and the jack got shoved under the couch - thank heavens for high legs with no skirt - I was standing puffing and holding onto the back of the chair when the lucky recipients walked through the living room going to the bedrooms - my hair was a mess - my face was red and I had a wierd look on my face and I was short of breath - at 11 pm it was a tad out of the ordinary for me - at 110 pounds soaking wet not my usual exercise routinue - when things calmed down - I only had the jack to wrap - it was in the box - I just had it wrapped and mom pulled into the driveway when she came in I had the evidence of my project cleaned up - I had just shoved paper, tape and scissors under and in before I went to the window drapes and twitched them open so she could see the wrapped ironing board - festooned in the Sunday comics - I dug the oil pan out from under the couch closest to the fireplace hearth wraped in paper wrapping - the oil pan was stashed in the hall closet and we had to get it downstairs that is one Christmas I had stuffed way down God, grant me the strength of eagles wings, the faith and courage to fly to new heights, and the wisdom to rely on his spirit to carry me there.
