Guest guest
Nothing much here. Hoping to go to the Dr and food shopping with Elaine on Tues, I NEED both, if I can;t get to the store we'll be eating rice till I can. Elaine is supposed to take me and if all goes well she will, the only "fly in the ointment" is that she is in Jax with Rita. But Rita is supposed to go home tomorrow (she's been in hospital, stuff to do with her lungs) . If she gets released and goes home tomorrow Elaine should be able to take us on Tues, so pray for that, and also because it will mean Rita is ok to come home, which is more important. And that's pretty much it, weather's great, thank the PTB (Powers That Be) that I have a/c... ~*~Hugs~*~ ~*~Akiba~*~ Pragmatic Visionary http://www.affiliates-natural-salt-lamps.com/pages/156.php -- update time folks! Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I am having another flare. I have been having migraines on a daily bases. They have been bad but not to the point of having to go to the hospital. I think the reason is because of the fact that Christal alerts me before they get real bad. I will be seeing a new nero on the 19th of this month. I am hoping that he will be able to tell me what is going on. Margaret A. Guest guest
Well I am cheating on dinner and making a "kit" of chicken fettucini alfredo, depending on how much it makes I might do some green beans. I am exhausted, I got almost NO sleep last night, decided to go into a flare and spent the night in intense pain. It was an upgraded "hug" with pain extending to the entire back and little shooting pains hither and yon. I was in too much pain to sleep, and afraid to go to sleep, even if sleep were possible, because I worried about not waking up. So before bed I wrote my will, just in case. Yes, it was that bad. I took some motrin at about 5 a.m and finally snoozed at about 7 for a few hours. So, needless to say, "cooking" was not really in the books for tonight. Robbin's lucky it isn't ramen noodles. I feel ok today, just very, very tired. Unless it returns, I should sleep like a log tonight. Let's hope. ~*~Hugs~*~ ~*~Akiba~*~ Pragmatic Visionary http://www.affiliates-natural-salt-lamps.com/pages/156.php -- Update time folks! It's UPDATE TIME! Guest guest
Kate, I find that now that I'm not working.. remembering to do my injection is most difficult.. When I was working, doing the injection was part of my morning get ready for work routine... I'm trying now to get it to become a habit that when my alarm (on my cell) goes off at 8 a.m. for my morning dose of Ampyra, that I do the injection at the same time.. The only problem with that is if brings my pill to me in the morning, rather than me coming out to my desktop (living room) computer.. which is where I keep my little blue zipper bag with the injection supplies. Could you possibly make it part of a "routine".. make it part of your get ready for school routine.. or possibly, if you do your email at the same time every day.. or close the same time, put your little bag next to the computer where you can see it.. If you have a cell phone with an Alarm Clock on it.. set it to go off at the same time every day.. but at a time you KNOW you're going to be home.. I even carried my Avonex to work with me at times.. wasn't much fun, and had to wear a dress and knee socks or bobby socks to work that day.. cause I wasn't doing the injection in the ladies room.. sometime I did it just to freak out some of the nasty people I worked with.. LOL HUGS |)onna Not a whole lot to report. Still having some breakthrough pain with the TN. I keep forgetting my copaxone shots! Just space it out. Some days I even forget my pills, then I pay for it dearly, later in the day. I have a small break from the computer class; the instructor is on her honeymoon. I think she had gotten married and then took her honeymoon at a later date. So, I'm off for about 10 days. Looks like I'll be able to get together with my friend, Lynn on Monday. She and I have not seen each other for months! I really, really miss her. Yet, ever since I've started marriage counseling, and not pursued divorce, I feel she has distanced herself from me. She tells me my place is at home, and I shouldn't be coming up to see her. I started a drawing class. I've really missed my drawing, and feel I need an outlet. Something that I can do for ME. I feel like I'm always doing for everyone else, and this gives me time for myself. It's just 2 hrs once a week, but I find it very relaxing. Tonight I'm making spaghetti with fresh/homemade pesto with grilled chicken, red pepper, green and yellow squash all diced in with it. Hopefully, everyone will enjoy it! love to all, Kate _,_._,___

Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I am doing ok. i am still trying to get things figured out with the MS. I am now reading on an E-Reader. I got mine at the end of last month. I am enjoying it a lot. It is easier for me to read because I can't hold a regular book any more because my hands will go numb and then I lose all grip in both of them. I am reading the Hobbit on it at this time. I will be reading other books on the E-Reader. Margaret A. CoteTo: Group <mserslife >Sent: Thu, June 2, 2011 5:43:47 PMSubject: Update time folks! It's UPDATE TIME!! I have issues with holding books too, find my hands get fatigued really quickly and have been thinking of looking for a helper for the task to reduce that issue.
