Re: HC dosing for hypopituitary

My morning cortisol was 14.5 and just shy of doubling to 27 with an

ACTH of 18. You don't think this is pituitary? Doc. said no adrenal

insuffiency with the stim results. What about my ACTH? says

hypopitutary with some adrenal atrophy. I don't know what to think

anymore Val or what to do. Thank you.

Well is more familiar wiht ACTH levels than I am. And there is an

adrenal; weakness there or you would have more than doubled. BUT the

dosing is just aboutthe same, just wiht pituitary problems, you willneed

other hormones as well and may have very low sex hormones as well.
