Florinef needs salt to work and you are on a very small amount of salt

for someone with those sympotkms I would at least double the sea salt. I

have to take about 3 teaspoons a day in the summer .

Thanks Val, how often should I be taking the sea salt? Can I just take

1 teaspoon twice a day morning and evening? I thought about taking some

at lunch but this could be tricky while at work.

You can do the tsp twice a day but why not take a bottle of salted water

wiht you to work? I do this all the time, in fact all the water I drink

has sea salt in ti!

Me, too! I add some vitamin C to my salt water--this really packs a punch!

My new Dr recommended the tsp of salt twice a day and some salt in all

water. I did great the first couple of days, but am now holding water

(mostly in the abdomen). It's becoming uncomfortable? Am I taking too

much salt?

Thank you -will try and take some between morning and evening I

think.I suppose I was just worried about adding it to water while at

work-greyish white powder looks suspicious and can't be bothered to

try and explain to anyone what I'm doing and why!!!! I suppose I

could add some before I go and take it with me.

I get bloat too...hope Val will chime in....I can only say, I back down and

then ease back up. btw, I think a tsp of salt at one time may be too much. I

usually take 1/4 tsp many times throughout the day.

without it costing a fortune.I may email them.Is it the coarse salt or

That is alot of salt, according to the book " The water cure " a half of

a teaspoon is the recommended dose and then you have to drink about

6-7 glasses of water to move the salt. If you cant do the water , you

cant do the salt. My whole family has been helped with the water(and

salt)cure but we don't do more than 1/2 teaspoon, most days 1/4 tsp.

Dont do the salt until you are drinking a few glasses of water without

probs. Your kidneys may not be able to handle the extra water. It may

take a few weeks for your kidneys to adjust. Pure drinking water ,

not tap water in most cities. ALso the salt is salt with

minerals,Himalayan or Celtic sea salt with as close to to the 84

minerals. Good luck. My blood pressure increased, it was low, my

headaches reduced greatly, more energy and better lungs thanks to the

water(salt)cure. Read the book if you can, it explains everything

greatly. Goodluck, also curezone.com has info on the water cure, also

google the water cure,it has a webpage.

Well I increased my salt yesterday fom 1 teaspoon to two teaspoons to

help me use the florinef and I felt alot less anxious, more energetic

and my blood pressure although still dropped when I stood was higher

than it had ever been -112/61 108/65 standing. This morning though I

think one of my fingers was a bit swollen as I could not get a ring on

I normally wear without a bit of a struggle, no other swelling.I'm

thinking that I may have to increase the salt a bit more slowly and

take 1 1/2 teaspoons today to let my body adjust.Does it sound like the

salt increase was too fast for me? Thanks,

.

Since I've been on more salt I'm also sweating a lot more-almost

constantly under my arms even though I'm cold (it's driven me crazy

today at work as it's horrible!).This sweating has been a problem for

years but the more salt I take the worse it is.Once the florinef starts

to work this should reduce shouldn't it? I understand that florinef

helps hold on to salt and the reason for the excessive perspiration is

due to salt wasting.

Have I got that right? Thanks,

.

>From my other symptoms and temps pretty sure I haven't got high

thyroid or high cortisol.Maybe I'm being impatient but once I manage to

increase the salt further how long should it take before the florinef

starts to work fully? I feel like I'm not getting very far at the

moment. My temps are pretty stable but I just want my blood pressure to

rise and this sweating to stop.

Yes but high thyroid or high cortils will also make oyu sweat too

easily.

Thanks Val.Prior to this salt increase I'd been on one pill florinef

for two weeks so not enough salt probably but now I've increased my

salt I'm hoping things may improve. Can the amount of florinef you need

be affected by absorption like hc?
