Guest guest
VIAN, Okla. -- Authorities said a paramedic who scuffled with an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper during a traffic stop last year has been arrested in Vian on municipal complaints. Assistant Police Chief Chandler said Maurice White Jr. was booked into the Sequoyah County Jail Monday morning for speeding, no driver's license and resisting arrest, among other things. White's vehicle allegedly was traveling at 39 mph in a 25 mph zone. A spokeswoman with the Sequoyah County Sheriff's Office said White could face fines of $668. White couldn't be reached for comment Monday afternoon. In May, White scuffled with Trooper after stopped a Creek Nation ambulance en route to the hospital when it didn't yield as he responded to an emergency call. Louis N. Guest guest
I believe the Trooper has also had some difficulties since the original incident. Looks like each may have a history of problems that collided on that day. And as many stated back then, fault was not one sided. From: Louis N.
