Yes, Great Smokies is better, but you don't have to be near them as whatever

samples you get (blood, stool etc) are mailed to them. Which tests are you

looking to do?

Drs have a hard time writing orders for labs that they believe will not give

you worthwhile results. The tests at GSDL are much more standard and

acceptable to most physicians than Great Plains and the interpretations

aren't as suspect.

Dcotors Data for the mercury. The yeast test is really a misnomer. It's

not really what anyone thinks it is. The yeast part is really only a

figment of GPL interpretations. :( The skin pricks do not work and if you

based her restrictions on those results, yes, get the blood testing done by

ImmunoLabs or GSDL because they will likely be very different. Go see my

site at www.geocities.com/ARNFL and click on medical.

From everything I have read it is best to do both tests. The skin prick test

has a high ratio of false positives, but the blood test has a high ratio of

false negatives. So to be on the safe side we are doing both, and for now

are completely avoiding anything she showed 3+ or more for on the skin prick

test. There is so much conflicting info. out there, not to add so many

personal opinions that I really believe one must go with their gut and do

the best they can. I am not going through great plains because I have heard

so many people complain about them, and back their complaints up. We have to

be careful when going off others complaints, as everyone could have one bad

experience. I have heard complaints on here about Kirkmans, but no one could

convince me to go with anyone else. I think they are wonderful! So we will

go ahead with the yeast testing because if nothing more it will get us a

medical evaluation to justify treatment to my insurance company. We will

probably get the allergy testing done through great smokies, as soon as we

can find a Dr. to write the order. Anyone know of a good Dr. in NC, maybe

even eastern NC, that can help us? If not we will go out to Asheville,

anyone have a good experience to share with me about one of the Dr.'s in

Asheville, NC? Thanks in advance.

But know in advance he would never write a script for either GPL or probably

GSDL.

Which font are you using? This is Bookman Old Style 14. But If I switch to another font like Times New Roman and use a 14 it looks like this. That doesn't really help, does it? lol SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. The slight variations in spelling and grammar enhance its individual character and beauty and in no way are to be considered flaws or defects.
