Yesterday I posted an email asking if anyone knew of any paramedic openings. I

am in the DFW area and since my family is here I would like to stay in that

general vicinity.

There are a number of transfer services within the Dallas area however, most

9-1-1 services are handled by the fire departments. If you want to go 9-1-1

you'll have to look outside of the Dalls area. Arlington & Ft. Worth both have

9-1-1 services where they hire non-FD paramedics. Ft. Worth is a third city

service and Arlington is run by AMR. If you go south towards Waxahachie and

Ellis county you can check with ETMC-EMS as they are hiring for those areas.

They are also hiring for Waco. There are plenty of EMS services in the area you

just have to look and see what you want to do (Transfer or 9-1-1) and how close

or how far you want go within the DFW area.
