Guest guest
Can anyone tell me where I can purchase bioidentical hormones at a discounted price? I have taken my 2nd ZRT saliva and blood spot test (a year apart) that shows improvement in my estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone -- but they are at the lower end of the range. I have taken Thyroid-S and Isocort for a couple years now and have adjusted the dosages carefully. You ladies have been great with all your help and info. I have been using bioidentical estrogen, testosterone, and pregnenolone for a couple months that a friend gave me. I feel wonderful. But I need to buy them on my own. The only doctor I know in my area that gives prescriptions for bioidenticals does not take insurance and charges around $40 per hormone and they need to be replaced about every six weeks. There must be some other way to purchase them without paying a doctor fee + the $120 it would cost me every 6 weeks! Is there a bioidentical yahoo group that might know? Maybe an overseas source for these bioidentical hormone supplements? Thanks so much! Judi
Guest guest
WomensInternational pharmacy does them - although they seem to be out of commision until they figure out how to " get around " the mechinations of the $#%@ FDA. WellnessHeath *might* do " regular " hormone compounding - they more serve the autism-compounding- treatment market.. I don't know about prices though. A doctor who *requires* a refill every 6 *weeks*? Jeez - this should be brought up before the GAO - which I hope hasn't been completely taken over by the drug company minions like the FDA, AACE, AD(iabetic)A, and probably AMA and JDRF as well.. Better yet, the insurance companies should do it - they are all about saving (themselves) money.. (and gouging us in the name of a larger profit) Jim > Can anyone tell me where I can purchase bioidentical hormones at a > discounted price?
