Guest guest
I was just reading the patient information sheet for Amrour, and it said one of the inactive ingridents was calcium sterate (and dextrose.. Gotta have a bit of a sugary taste in everything - good thing too - otherwise Armour would probably be bitter as hell!) I though calcium interfered with thyroid hormones - or is this possibly an intentional sorta-slowed absorbtion effect, or do small amounts of calcium not affect Armour? This is a question I've been wondering - how MUCH calcium will interfere? Certainly the amount of Ca in a multi-vitamin or Ca-pill would, and possibly however much is in my selenium pills (which I now wait at least an hour before taking in the morning. Needless to say, I'm looing for a new supplier of Se, and writing to Nature's Bounty company. What I *don't* know about is whether there is any Ca in the base of my generic bupropion or lorazempam. I'm not taking any chances with those either until the pharmacy can wrangle the inactives from the company - they should be listed anyway, although with generics.. Would the FDA have a list of inactives based on NDC? (they should at least be good for SOMETHING!) Jim
