Just wondering what if any code is used to communicate on-scene

fatalities to your communication centers. We used " 10-50 " in areas I

have worked in the past unfortunatly that is 10 code for MVC at most

every other place I have been so currently we ask for the JP and that

is " code " for death on-scene just wondering how others do it around

the state?

We have used 10-42 (Out of Services), Signal 99, or just DOS - for dead

on the scene and 10-99 for request coroner/JP

One large service uses Code 44, and here in Tucson it's Code 900. The reasons

for those particular codes escapes me.
