I know "talk is cheap", but LAST time he was down here, when I asked him to chip in and his response was to go stay with his mom and pay HER rent instead of helping with HIS son, he said, and I quote, "You're on your own", so this is definitely singing a different tune...hopefully he'll have the dance moves to go along with his new song...

like I said before he gets out of the car - get a signed contract for his expenses for staying with you and Robbin - also the lack of payment or lack of child support will - sadly be reported to child support services - you can't continue to support him and take care of Robbin and you

I'm witih Anne and Margaret on this one.

Why not charge rent if Rob and/or Mike stay with you? You've been taken advantage of how many times now . They obviously managed to come up with money when they were with their girl friends and Rob at his mother's. Last time there I seem to remember he drove you to a few places a few times, etc. You talked about dinners, etc. and you sounded happy and sort of positive. That I can understand, being alone and lonely, trying to raise my kids alone. It took me far to long to realize it was just a game of 'give the dog a bone' with my Rob; please don't let it happen with you too.

It worries me both for your sake and Robbin's. Yes he may be learning how to be a man but not by example but the very opposite. Hopefully he's not letting anger and resentment build up trying not to worry you .... hugs, Cait

Right now I'd just be happy if they pay their way, I will, if Mike's art takes off, ask him for more, not expecting Rob to hang around for long, which is fine. He never paid his way with his girlfriends, he always mooches. He did pay some when he was at his moms, not a lot but some. Mike I can trust, at least a whole lot more then Rob, and when his art sells the money will probably (we haven't set it all up yet as they are not here yet) come into MY paypal, so if he wants it...well (muahahahahaaaaa) And Rob WILL drive Robbin and I to the Dr's and stuff...that's a given.

Robbin IS learning, by example, from his dad. How NOT to be a dad, how NOT to be a husband, and over and above everything, how NOT to be a man. Robbin is a very centered young man and he "gets" it. He really does.
