Hi,

I have been taking cortisol for approx. 5mos.(Dec. 09'- stopped taking 1st week

in May. I was taking 10 mgs of cortisol, then after labs came back showed TSH

high 4.92 (0.40-4.50 normal) and T3 reverse high 36 (11-32 normal) Ferrintin was

low at 26.

My Wellness doc started me on slow release T3 5MG. I could not tolerate the srT3

and 10mg of cortisol together. My heart raced and I had anxiety symptoms. I

could not tolerate even low dose 2.5 mg of each together. I stopped taking

cortisol and currently now taking 10 mg of SRT3. I also take Iodoral.

My questions:

How do I know if i still need cortisol? I dont want to take it because it has

caused terrible stomach issues.

How do I know if 10mg is enough for me?

Should I stop taking Iodoral?

I have had labwork done 3 times in the past 6mos, and the thyroid problems did

not show up until now.

IF there is an adrenal group i would like to know how to join?

Thanks,

Cheree
