Guest guest
Getting frustrated trying to wipe out my old Webshots albums. They automatically take the fee out of my paypal each year and I quit using it a few years ago. Even when I was using it, I didn't get half of my stitching into it and none of the framed pieces. There's also a few pics of Jana and 2lb Sonya If I'm reading correctly, Webshots feel that they own the pics??? If anyone wants to look before I wipe out what I can , I'm http://community.webshots.com/user/cdnxstitcher

Guest guest
Nice pics! I'm in awe of all who can do that with a piece (or pieces) of thread ;-)On the closing the account issue, I have never used this particular service so I don't really know. Good luck! And on the owning the rights to the pics, that's a widespread problem with web services like this, that the fine print says that you hand over the rights/ownership to your photos when you upload them, but that the majority of the users are not aware of this. I know there was a huge debate regarding Facebook over this in Swedish media, because earlier they (FB) owned every photo uploaded on FB, I think that they changed that because of the level of critique when people became aware of it, but I don't know for sure.love/Reb>> Getting frustrated trying to wipe out my old Webshots albums. Guest guest
Cait, I don't have a webshots account; so, I am unable to log in to see if I can find an answer for you. There is a link called "My Account" at the bottom of the page that you sent the link to. By the way, your work is amazing! If you have tried contacting Webshots customer service with no resolve; maybe, you can contact Paypal and have them stop allowing payments to go out to Webshots. Good luck getting this resolved.Donna in WA
Guest guest
I looked around and found a "contact customer support" spot at http://www.webshots.com/support/kb/Let me know if that helps you cancel. hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
Will do but I don't feel like getting frustrated at this hour. Apparently it's like Reb says and they feel like they own our pics. And no idea when American Greeting got involved with it; I really didn't use it much ..... hugs, Cait TOT: Anyone know how to cancel a Webshot account Getting frustrated trying to wipe out my old Webshots albums.
