Tactical Medicine Courses

Hello;

In April we are co-sponsoring a Tactical Medicine course with McLennan County

Community College in Waco. There are two levels of training.

The first course is two days and is aimed at training first response personnel,

police officers, fire fighters, EMS, etc. on how to respond to an incident which

may involve a suicide bomber, active shooter, barricaded suspect, etc. The cost

is $150.00 and runs from 8:00am - 5:00pm on April 22nd & 23rd.

The second course is a continuation of the above course but is aimed at EMS and

law enforcement personnel who are providing up close medical support during a

tacticl situation. It is one day (3 all together) and the cost is $200.00 and

runs from 8:00am - 10:00pm each day from April 22nd - 24th.

Seems like SPAM to me. The website is very vague. Is this a for profit

company? Is it CECBEMS and TDH approved? Moderators?
