Guest guest
I am taking it easy today. For the most part the evacuated animals are in shelter, and so are the people. We are concentrating now on getting donations for the sheltered animals and food for the human evacuees who aren't in the Red Cross Shelter. There are also donation bins around town and at the grocery stores for bottled water for the firefighters. One woman is getting the dirty clothes from the sleeping firefighters and taking them to the laundry. Then she gets the clothes back to them before the firefighters walk up. Isn't that cool? The fire is at 386,690 acres now BUT there is now 5% containment!! That's not a lot but it's better than zero! One family we have helped is evacuated from Eagar. The are a foster family with four teenage foster sons. They have a place to stay but they need food. Their paychecks are in the mail --but which mail??? The mail from their town is who knows where? hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. The slight variations in spelling and grammar enhance its individual character and beauty and in no way are to be considered flaws or defects. Guest guest
When the Murrah Building blew up in 1991 the reiki and massage therapists set up shop for free - the hotels were hot bunking them - changing in between each shift with mints on the pillows - the chefs took over meals - they even worked on the dogs anyone know massage therapists out that way? God, grant me the strength of eagles wings, the faith and courage to fly to new heights, and the wisdom to rely on his spirit to carry me there.
