Guest guest
Well, thanks to all of you and to many others, I had a terrific 74th birthday celebration, although there is more to come. I had a lovely dinner out on my birthday with a very dear friend, and then I got sicker than a dog on the 8th and the 9th, and spent the evening at the ER. Dehydration! Good Grief! It has not even been hot here! 3 bags of saline later and I felt so much better. I have cystic fibrosis (which is why I have diabetes), and apparently we really DO lose sodium chloride and water! After 74 years of this, one would think that I might have learned. Blood sugars were NORMAL! I hope that none of you has been ill, and that you are hanging in with our " Multiple Surprises, " " Many Symptoms, " and so on! n, on way out to see granddaughter in her school play and to have Shabbat at my daughter and son-in-laws' home with the other granddaughter--these two are the youngest of my grandchildren: 12 and 16. . . Guest guest
Your birthday sounds spectacular....except, the getting sick part! Oh n, poor you. Did you happen to have any wine/alcohol, or does diabetes prohibit that? I know that alcohol dehydrates, and perhaps you were partying! It always so uplifting to read from you. Especially that your birthday(s) always seem to continue for about a week; that is so special. You are truly loved.love,KateFrom: marionjrojas2002 To: MSersLife Sent: Fri, June 10, 2011 5:13:06 PMSubject: Birthdays, and so on Well, thanks to all of you and to many others, I had a terrific 74th birthday celebration, although there is more to come.
