Guest guest
Okay, so Monday I called the doctor for this nerve pain. Wait all week and her office finally calls me back again today. I explained to the nurse that I was taking pain medication meant for my fibromyalgia (Fiorocet) in addition to the 100 mg of Elavil and ibuprofen and it still wasn't working. Evidently, when she agreed to take me as a patient two years ago, she only agreed to cover my DMD medication - she referred me back to my " hometown neurologist " , who only treats my epilepsy, for the pain issues. Um, what? You're an MS specialist and you only want to treat part of my ms? I don't get this. Tina

Guest guest
Not really, unless I want to look in the Springfield area, or the U of I medical school, both of which are at least three hour drives away. It ticks me off, because she's an MS specialist, she is supposed to handle all things about my MS. Tina Tina that makes no sense. Guest guest
I've heard of others having a similar problems. Doctors are sometimes so specialized they won't treat the patient-- only pieces of the patient.hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
