Guest guest
Go to this link. The easiest way to sort it out is to copy and past the states and cities in Excel and then organize the cities alphabetically. Hope that helps. http://www.visitingdc.com/zip-code/texas-zip-codes.asp Gilchrest, BS, EMT-P EMSC Project Coordinator Baylor College of Medicine Pediatric Emergency Medicine Texas Children's Hospital 1102 Bates Avenue, Suite 1850 Houston, TX. 77030 (office) (cell) #2472 (pgr) (fax) adgilchr@...adgilchr@...> www.bcm.edu/pediatrics/emschttp://www.bcm.edu/pediatrics/emsc> ________________________________ From: texasems-l [mailto:texasems-l ] On Behalf Of lnmolino@... Guest guest
This is even better just put in the state and it lists city and county side by side! http://www.naco.org/Template.cfm?Section=Data_and_Demographics&Template=/cffiles\ /counties/citiesstateall.cfm&STATECODE=TX Marilyn Re: Off topic but Texas related Send us a copy of the list maybe we can help!!!! -Chris Sorry for the spelling and punctuation this was typed on tge tiny keyboard on my iPhone > Ok I have a list of about 200 Texas cities and I need to figure out > what > county each city is located in. > > I know I can look them up one by one but does anyone know if there > is a web > site where I can get this type of stuff faster than one by one? > > I was able to find a list of counties very easy on Google but I am > coming > up blank here? > > Feel free to insert Y'all's dumb Yankee comment here (you know who you > are?) > > Off list replies are OK unless you prefer to bust on the dumb Yankee > publicly > > Thanks. > > Louis N. Guest guest
Try this link. There is a section to enter your registration information but you don't need to do that. Just below that section is a section headed " Texas Cities " . Click on a letter and it will bring up a list of every city beginning with that letter and will show the county it is in. http://proagency.tripod.com/ttxcities.html Maxine Pate ---- Original message ---- >Date: Tue, 23 Mar 2010 21:41:13 EDT >From: lnmolino@... >Subject: Off topic but Texas related >To: texasems-l > > > > Ok I have a list of about 200 Texas cities and I > need to figure out what > county each city is located in. > > I know I can look them up one by one but does anyone > know if there is a web > site where I can get this type of stuff faster than > one by one? > > I was able to find a list of counties very easy on > Google but I am coming > up blank here? > > Feel free to insert Y'all's dumb Yankee comment here > (you know who you > are?) > > Off list replies are OK unless you prefer to bust on > the dumb Yankee > publicly > > Thanks. > > Louis N. Guest guest
Louis, One correction--the first section is not for entering your personal information, it is for entering information on someone you are looking up. Just skip that part. Maxine ---- Original message ---- >Date: Wed, 24 Mar 2010 09:52:55 -0400 (EDT) > >Subject: Re: Off topic but Texas related >To: texasems-l > > > > Try this link. Guest guest
Thanks everyone. I found a list of all Texas cities (well Post Offices) linked to each cities County on the National Association of Counties web site. I was able to get that in an Excel spreadsheet which let me alphabetized it by each County. FYI we have 254 Counties and 3010 unique Cities with at least one Zip Code in Texas. Louis N. Guest guest
texasalmanac.com. Their towns database will tell you the towns in a particular county, or the county for a particular town. But I think you have to either have the town or county first to do the lookup. But it's free. Steve hire EMS wrote: > Try this link.
