Guest guest
So glad you had what sounds like a wonderful birthday, Sharon! It was good to hear that you have not had to evacuate, but I know how hard it is to helplessly watch while others are suffering and losing so much. I had a bad spell at New Year's, but am slowly recovering and thankful I am still able to be in my own home with lots of carers seeing to my needs for 5 hours per day. Still have my 2 little chihuahua gals for company and lots of birds and squirrels at the feeders to give 'life' to my home. I now discourage the wild life coming around (for safety limitations.) The village children like to pop in and visit me - they are so fun: "We LOVE to visit OLD people!" Of course my generous candy bowl keeps them coming! LOL! Sam's presence is still with me in the roses, lilacs, lilies, poppies, pansies and spring bulbs that survive year after year! The big garden has been turned over to lawn, but I still have a play, container garden on the patio. Life is good - just wish I could stay awake more to enjoy it! Love Hugs & Blessings to all, Marilyn
Guest guest
Marilyn, what a joy to read your description of your little visitors, your wildlife and especially the plants/flowers still infused with Sam's influence. You must miss him terribly. But it sounds like you are as upbeat as ever!big hugs to you! SharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
