Present is but when he started school he changed it to cause it was easier to spell and further up in the line . Okay, nother question .. I'm fascinated by Louisiana and the bayou. Whole clans of Irish, Ulster-Scots, Welsh, etcfolks settled into the mountain "hollers" and seldom went farther from homethan the next valley...Not so much nowadays, people leave, strangers move in, etc, widens thegene pool!And that guy wouldn't have worked out anyway, if for no other reasonthan names. Just 3 of 'em in one house would be a bit much... Loo-siana's a differnt country from Appalachia, you know - all them Acadians what come from Canada and all that! ;-) Depending on where you are, the culture is more French, or more " African " , or weird old leftover Before The Civil War... just like hillbillies and beer-drinking hockey-watching polite Canadians, the stories about the bayous are both more and less than you hear!
