KateYes, it was very frightening for all of us. We have two water tanks--one for house water and one for garden water. The family is a mom and dad and three kids. One of their friends found a mobile home for them and it will be moved onto their property this weekend or next week I think. hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Oh dear Sharon !I'm shaking and crying just reading this. I can only imagine the depths of your fears! As you say God bless all the emergency workers! Great that there is a water tank. Do you own your own water tank too? Or is that just a silly question? Was there anyone home when it started? Anyone harmed? Are they a family with children? Where will they now go? Sorry for all the questions!I feel for your grandkids also! Know you are loved and are being surrounded by prayer.

There was an explosion and fire about a quarter mile from us today. The house burned and the fire was jumping from tree to tree on their property. It was windy and the fire was spreading fast. We are 20 minutes out of town and I am so impressed with the response. I am glad they had their emergency plans in effect! There is such fire danger now and with the big Wallow fire not that many miles from us... well, I think you can get my 'concern'. First a sheriff deputy vehicle came screaming past our house. That's when we looked out and saw the huge black smoke billowing just to the south of us. We could see flames leaping from tree to tree. Then there were fire trucks from two towns and a municipal water tanker truck from one of the towns. More deputies came and more fire trucks! The

response was fantastic. They got the fire out! It was so scary. There are thick trees between us and the house that burned. After we saw how the fire jumped from the burning house to all the trees on their property in just a few minutes. If the response hadn't been what it was we would be on fire by now. Scary!!! My son was in town when this happened so I called him. He was frightened for us because he could see the billowing smoke and there were emergency vehicles screaming past him on their way this direction. He said to have the kids gather all the garden hoses from the yard and garden and chicken yard and get them up to the water tank. So the girls did that (their brother is gone to a friend's) and got the hoses hooked together. There was a fire spotter plane flying over while the girls were gathering the hoses. It was a nerve wracking time for sure. My son sped home,

getting here in half the time as usual. I am kind of done in by all of this. My TN is zinging me and my jaw is aching. There is no city water out here and no fire hydrants so the trucks have to bring their own water. Thank God for firemen and water tanks!hugs
