Tina,

Only time can tell, but definitely go talk to your doctor about it. It just depends on the damage the flare caused I think. Several years ago I developed a fuzzy spot in the central vision of my right eye and it has never went away and now I'm legally blind in that eye. I wish this disease were something they could just treat when a flare comes up and things go back to normal but sadly, it doesn't always work that way. I hope it does go away for you, I know it's no fun having a symptom that ends up being permanent. There is just nothing more frustrating than this awful disease. Hang in there.

Okay, so I haven't had the really, really acute nerve skin pain (the type that makes me want to not wear clothing) for about 5 days, I'm just having some of the pain in my arms and legs, either like it had been scraped or light sun burn, or the (and this description doesn't make sense to me even, but it's the best that I could describe it) type of feelings in my arms and legs, almost like tingling, except it hurts and itches, like if you've been standing in one place for way too long (but I don't think this is circulation issue as it just came on in both arms and legs). So we (my husband and I) are thinking the exacerbation is over with, and what I'm left with is either permanent, or will settle down in time. Truthfully, I'm terrified that it might be permanent, as it affects everything I do, all day long. It's even happening when I'm sitting down and relaxing. I'm a casual gamer for relaxation, and it affects what I do there, too, and I have a night (Thursday) where I sit down and use MSN to chat with some friends from Norway, and across the US (usually for a very long time), and I had to bail yesterday.Tina

TinaIt's different for different MSers. Unfortunately you will just have to wait and see what happens for you. Sometimes the flare ends and so do all the symptoms. Other times it doesn't happen that way. I'm sorry I can't tell you everything will be perfect. Give it some time and you will probably bounce back more to what you were before the flare. hang in there!!hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. I still have chocolate sprinkles - the last eye exam I got color pics from doc printed out - proves I have the MonSter- 8 X 10 glossies

not exactly head shots ... but it proves the MS God, grant me the strength of eagles wings, the faith and courage to fly to new heights, and the wisdom to rely on his spirit to carry me there.

I know how that is. I have two copies of my MRIs because apparently copies take up too much space. But my MS is the attraction about them, all large and in charge!

Thanks, Sharon.  I actually had somewhat of a symptom free night last night, although it's back today.  I made the most of it and in my casual gaming enjoyed myself like I haven't been able to in a month.

Now, with Father's Day tomorrow, well, when I made out the grocery list I completely blanked on it, and didn't ask hubby what he wanted me to fix....he won't go out and get anything today for it, and so my choices to fix are (get ready for this) - frozen pizza, pancakes, or tacquitos, because he expressly forbade me to fix the spaghetti tomorrow night.  He just had frozen pizza last night, and well, neither of the other options will be well received either.
