the original Battlestar I still love - Lorne Greene is still a silver fox

Hatch is still reliving his glory days - he is something else God, grant me the strength of eagles wings, the faith and courage to fly to new heights, and the wisdom to rely on his spirit to carry me there.

I used to watch it long long ago, when the Dr was Tom Baker? Goofy

curly-haired guy with the scarf? Then didn't see it again until about

halfway through Tennant's Dr, got hooked again when it was the Dr and

Donna Noble. Now I've caught up from when the Dr met Rose Tyler til the

present. Need to see all the stuff I've missed, or don't remember from a

million years ago!

We have sort of gone the other direction. Started with watching the first season of Torchwood (a spinoff of Dr Who, the name, "Torchwood", is actually an anagram of Doctor Who, and was originally used to label tapes from the Dr Who production during transport, to disguise them, and protect them from theft and pirates)., when it aired in Sweden. The second season started to air in Sweden, but was cancelled mid-season due to less viewers than had been anticipated (which *could* be because the station changed the airing time, and even airing day, from week to week, only the really true devotees could keep track of it, even the two of us missed out on a few episodes because of that erratic airing...). Anyway, that naturally left us no choice but to buy the whole series on DVD... And we have bought the seasons produced later too. But eventually you are going to run out of Torchwood episodes (even if you watch all the bloopers, deleted scenes, view with audio commentary, listen to the radio plays etc etc...)... And knowing Torchwood was a spinoff from Dr Who, we started watching the doctor. We started with the then current doctor ( Eccleston), and then watched the Tennant dr too, before starting to work our way backwards. We haven't seen it all yet. Thankfully! Still something to look forward to there...love/RebP.S. If you're interested, the American trailer for the first season of Torchwood can be viewed here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uwZUITi_u6M--- In MSersLife , " Thallas" wrote:>> I used to watch it long long ago, when the Dr was Tom Baker? he was a guest on Theresa's blog talk radio and let's just say he was problematic - she wrote the tv script for the military and the paranormal romance is about to be funded "Never Can Say Goodbye" with Shirley MacLaine and - and a few surprizes God, grant me the strength of eagles wings, the faith and courage to fly to new heights, and the wisdom to rely on his spirit to carry me there.

I saw a good bit of the first season of Torchwood, but kept forgetting it

was on and missing episodes! Reminds me, I should get Himself (he works in

a Hastings books and entertainment store) to see if they have the DVDs

hanging around...
