Guest guest
Oh dear! Do you usually have this many fires?Tina Another fire has broken out this morning. It's about 30 miles to the west of us. It's already at 200 acres and the highway is closed down. The original fire near me is the Wallow Fire (east of us) and it is about 58% contained. Then the Willow Fire broke out about 50 miles west of me. This new one is called the Wash Fire and it is between the Willow and us. Please, please pray for rain!hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
Mercy on us! Prayers for rain-without-lightning soonest. Also (;-D) that the fire-naming folks out there get another letter - how in the world are they keeping " Wallow " , " Willow " , and " Wash " straight?!? Guest guest
We do get fires here unfortunately. But this is an extremely dry year so far. We had extremely cold weather but not enough snow. We are all praying for a good monsoon season here to bring a good rain. Of course the unfortunate people who are in the area that burned will get flooding when the monsoons hit because the vegetation won't be there to hold the rain to the earth. The county already has volunteers signed on to man the sandbag distribution centers and to help stack sandbags.hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
The reports are the Wash fire was started by a Winnebago motor home. They should have stuck with the W theme and named it Winnebago:) SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
What I heard was they had a blow-out on a tire and it created sparks. It's so dry that a spark is all that is needed. Guest guest
How frightening this must be for all of you. I will keep you all in prayer, and pray desperately for rain! Please Lord, provide the earth with the monsoons it needs to bring these fires to an end. We put all the people concerned in your loving care. Please provide shelter, and peace as well. Amen love to you Sharon, and your entire family, Kate To: Group <mserslife >Sent: Thu, June 23, 2011 5:20:14 PMSubject: ANOTHER fire! Another fire has broken out this morning.
