Acth Stim Test

My daughter is having her thyroid tested next week, we are pretty sure

she has adrenal problems also. She gets her labs cheap right now

because of being in hospital so would it be okay if she took that

stimulation test instead of saliva test right now??? Would it be

conclusive and show if she was low in cortisol???? We are pretty sure

about hypo too thats why she is being tested....her doc is my doc and

will go lby the saliva test....she just doesn't want to send for it

herself, hopes she will though, I told her how...

It might or it might not, so in other words a negative STIM doesn;t rule

i t out.

It certainly wouldn't hurt to have a stim test done. The results might come

in handy later. The salvia test would be very useful as well though.
