Guest guest
Thank you for the update, Sharon. Prayers for rain--miraculously without flooding!Love and hope,nTo: Group <mserslife >Sent: Thu, June 23, 2011 4:20:53 PMSubject: my little update for Thursday and dinner! It was 97 here today. My son and grandson are gone today and the girls couldn't get the generator to start until 3 p.m. No generator = no cooling. It's finally on and I am cooling off at last. Whew! The temp is supposed to drop to 90 tomorrow and then back into the 80s. My legs have been stiff so I haven't gone out to the poultry yard for several days. I really enjoy going out to hand feed the chickens and ducks. Some of them eat from my hand:) I won't go out there if my legs are working well. I don't want another fall like I had out there last year. When it's just the three granddaughters here with me we lead an easier life as far as meals go. For lunch two of us had salads. The other two had ants on a log (celery with peanut butter and raisins). This Saturday is the homeschool conference so the three older grandkids will go to that with their parents. The youngest from this house is , age 8. She was upset that the older kids were going to the conference and she was under age for it. Oh, she could have gone but would be required to stay with her parents instead of going to the art class and other kid activities. My daughter lives 5 miles away and her two daughters are in the same situation. The oldest can go to the conference but the youngest is only 7. So Maya is coming over here to gramma's house for a "pool party". The pool is just a small hard plastic pool but and Maya are so excited! I pulled out the hula skirts, goggles, beach balls and water shooters. They are planning on having pink lemonade and snacks. Then Maya and her older sister, Jenna, will spend 5 days here with me and the four grands who live here full time. Dinner? My son should be back for dinner. But I will start it. We're having chicken breasts, sauteed peppers, eggplant and salad. That won't require much time standing in the kitchen--thank goodness!hugs to each of you SharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
