Guest guest
Glad to hear all the above! (Well, except for the expensive pills!) And pasta salad sounds good after a long hot day! T in WY Practical Blackwork Designs http://practicalblackwork.com http://practical-blackwork.blogspot.com " You get a wonderful view from the point of no return... " Robbin and " stuff " Well today was Robbin's cardiology appt, so far they can't find anything wrong (deep *relieved* sigh), but they DID put a roving EKG thingy on him, he has to wear it for 24 hours then I send it back (he said he looks like a suicide bomber ROFL) then they are going to send him a thingy that when he has one of his " episodes " he is to activate it and it will send an EKG over the phone. He'll have that for a month. I guess, so far, so good. It was a lovely drive to Daytona, we went past the speedway and heard the cars, kinda cool.... When we got home there was a package, from the MS society...contained a cooling vest, scarf, wristbands and hat! The scarf I am wearing like a hippy headband...(where is my guitar?) On the way home, stopped off and picked up my new diabetes med. The Metformin was about $16 a month, then they added 100 mg. a day of Januvia, which worked. So he put me on a combined pill. The combined pill cost? $332 a month. What? So I take 2 pills instead of 3? Thank G-D for insurance!!!! And Lord only knows what today would have cost at the pediatric cardiologist...I DO know that the machine they sent home with him (to be returned in the conveniently provided fedex box) cost $2,000.... Rob just took Mike off to a job interview, I am pretty sure he'll get it (*Fresh meat!*)(there isn't a lot of local talent and she has probably already gone through all of them!), Meanwhile, while we were gone Mike made a bacon/pasta salad, did all of the dishes, cleaned...put on a pork roast...(he's hired! Here, at least!) ~*~Hugs~*~ ~*~Akiba~*~ Pragmatic Visionary http://www.affiliates-natural-salt-lamps.com/pages/156.php

Guest guest
I'm so glad everything appears to be okay with Robbin. Hoping that Mike gets that job, too!Tina  Well today was Robbin's cardiology appt, so far they can't find anything wrong (deep *relieved* sigh), but they DID put a roving EKG thingy on him, he has to wear it for 24 hours then I send it back (he said he looks like a suicide bomber ROFL) then they are going to send him a thingy that when he has one of his " episodes " he is to activate it and it will send an EKG over the phone.
