The 5%, which is a more potent amount, wasbecause of the state of my vulvar irritation (bad!) when rx'd it. She thought i'dneed it to be able to tolerate the capsaicin. . . which i ended up not doing.Hollis For those who use compounded Lidocaine, what strength, base and amount is your Rx? I called Bellevue, but the guy kept telling me about 'other' kinds of compounded meds for vulvodynia. I got tickled...I kept asking about LIDOCAINE...he was very nice, though and is going to email me some info. I'll send in whatever I get from him (it was meds like Atropine, Amitrip, etc).
