Guest guest
I heard the news last night just before bed. I felt like calling my brother near Homer immediately but he has his phone off at night. The earthquake was in the Aleutian Islands and was felt in Dutch Harbor (a fishing community). There was a tsunami warning issued but thankfully that was canceled about an hour later. It was a 7.2 or 7.3, depending on what news source was reporting. That's huge! If it had been centered in a populated area it would have been devastating. My brother is on high ground so a tsunami wouldn't reach him the the damage to infrastructure would have certainly affected him. hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
Gee, Sharon...what the HECK is Mother Earth trying to convey to us...floods, earthquakes, fires, tsunamis? She seems to be groaning on an unprecidented level. When will it all stop? Love to you, and your brother also, please do let us know when you reach him, Kate To: Group <mserslife >Sent: Fri, June 24, 2011 11:21:12 AMSubject: major earthquake for Alaska I heard the news last night just before bed.
