I am so stunned it happened to you and again and the worst is they pushed you down the stairs! You could have been severely injured or worse. And I am worried about you!Where is the alarm? I know you said you were going to get an alarm. Please call them and tell them to hurry because you were robbed again and this time you were also injured. How is your body feeling? Listen you stubborn girl--please let someone stay with you until you get the alarm. Do you have a gun for protection? From memory I think Canada doesn't allow handguns. Is that right? sending you love SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. It only works for the basics. Life has been ridiculous ... my house was broken into AGAIN! Now this is a nice area; only 80 houses with only one access. We're moderate to high income houses with teachers, hospital staff, nurses, business owners, etc. The ones with the big expensive homes moved on down the expressway so we lost the doctors, lawyers, etc. What I'm trying to say it's a good area, neighbors know and watch out for each other, and there are no riff raffy people here. But again, sometime after 1 PM I was cleaning my bedroom and on the phone with . I heard some noises and then a big crash, stupidly told him someone was in the house and hung up. Actually he was just as stupid because he should have called 911 instead of trying to rush over here. I yelled at whoever was in my house and came hobbling down the hallway. I knew they were upstairs so that in itself was dumb. Anyway when I reached the end of the hallway, someone hig me on the head and pushed me down the friggin' stairs! Then they (I say they because I'm almost positive it was 2 guys) ran out the front door. This time they threw a rock in the kitchen window (a triple thermoplane (sp?) and what a bloody mess! There was enough blood and glass all over the kitchen, tracked through the dining and living rooms, and the hallway and on the carpet going upstairs. That further implies it was 2 because they tracked two ways and on the main floor merely opened utility drawers in the kitchen and took two big knives. Their target was obviously upstairs. Why me though???? This time it took the cops 6 hours to respond! I was taken to the hospital and they wouldn't let me come home for two days ... a mild concussion and the entire left side of my body is bruised and sore. wanted me to go to his house or he'd come here but I can't let myself be afraid to be alone in my own home! I'm still feeling like the whole thing was surreal. I don't have anything worth stealing! Monday the adjuster is coming to check the countertops, tiles, hardwood, etc. for scratches, etc. cleaned up as best he could before I came home. Would you believe they say to wear gloves ... well duh, with all those glass shards I guess. And a mask which he didn't wear. That's because of the chemicals they use to get prints, etc. but they didn't tell me that last time. Now supposedly there's a gang that have been breaking and entering our richer (well more mortgaged up to their eyeball neighbors). I assumed it was them again. But the police when they interviewed me asked all kinds of questions that kind of scared me. Do I have any enemies, do I owe anyone $, etc. etc. Considering I pay my bills on time, am limited socially by ms, I can think of no one. Well except for 'you know who' who I'm not concerned about. Anyway, I've tons of emails but I really don't feel up to reading them right now. Oh I kept my appt with the dr and got my prozac back. Good thing I checked the rx before I left his office; he hadn't given me any repeats. Hope everyone is okay and safe ... hugs, Cait
