I have my appointment with my new primary care doc tomorrow morning.  The thing is, I'm not sure what of my issues should be handled by her, which issues are caused by what, etc.  I know she should be handling my fibromyalgia - I mean, most rheumatologists (I think I spelled that wrong) are internists also, so why go to another doctor for the same thing?  My sex drive issues, I have no clue what's going on there, whether its the depression, the MS, all the meds I'm on or a combination of all three, but my husband is getting frustrated to the point where he's informed me that he no longer expects sex (which makes me incredibly sad).  He said this on the heels of my relapse, and then the med time change, which made me comatose at bedtime.  I've changed the time of my medication back to later so that it won't " interfere " but he still did this.  (His indication of this was by wearing underwear to bed, which he hasn't done since before I met him.)

I did finally get an appointment with an ophthalmologist and they were able to get me in on Wednesday!  So I'm looking forward to being done with that!Tina

I hope you are pleased with your new primary care. That's half the battle, isn't it? I do hope you get what you need from this new doc. Have you made a list? Since this is your first appointment it should be long enough to address the issues/problems you are having. How did it go? Good luck at the eye doc as well.hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Ironically, even with the list, I forgot to bring up the sex drive issue.  Otherwise it went well, although the cog-fog has been very deep today.I was having some problems with weakness in my legs and nerve pain in my skin in various points, and the skin on my upper back felt irritated.  I got a tetanus shot and a pneumonia vaccine, and I feel so much worse now.  I feel like I got hit by a truck and very weak all over.

Does your neuro recommend vaccines? Some do and some don't. How did you like this new doctor?hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. I never asked my neuro about the pneumonia vaccine - I wasn't even aware that it existed, but she does recommend the flu vaccine.  I LOVE the new doctor.  So much more personable than my old doctor, and willing to treat my fibromyalgia and actually medicate me for it!  I forgot to ask her to test my vitamin D level (because I've heard of people with MS having to take megadoses just to keep a normal level), but I can do that next month.

I still feel like crud though, and the arm I got the pneumonia vaccine in is real achy, but that's okay.Saw my ophthalmologist this morning, and it turns out my optometrist had my prescription wrong.  Also said my left eye has more problems with color vision that she wants to keep an eye on.  I can't afford to get the glasses now, but I get paid Sunday, so I'll be getting them then.

Right now she's given me pain pills and flexeril - she won't give me any anti-inflammatories, including Celebrex, because of my GERD.Tina
