Guest guest
Chelle, What is your diagnosis? Did Rhonda agree? Do you think going to her alone you would have benefitted (without your husband). Why are you going to Dr Conway? CSee what's new at AOL.com and Make AOL Your Homepage. Carolyn, not sure exactly what you want to know...I have a long standing history of pelvic pain...19 yrs. Started with Endo, then vulvar pain, then IC, now sacrum issues, sitting pain (possible PN issues) hormonal problems, etc. So...my diagnosis would not help you any...to be honest, Rhonda really didn't diagnose me specifically and I only saw her 3 days. I told her my history, she did connective skin work & manipulation that hurt like HECK...if that skin was 'normal' it should not have hurt...let me tell you, I'm not normal!!!! She showed my hubby and I how to work on my problem areas....v. skin internally and externally and internal work of muscles and urethra around my bladder. I am glad I went, because at least I now KNOW what issues I have from a PT aspect. I don't have to 'wonder' anymore. I already 'knew' but it's different when someone touches muscles that makes you want to jump on the ceiling. Proof behind all that pain!!!! There are things I can do to work on myself...but my husband is very valuable in all this for me. But again, my trigger points will not be the same for you. You won't know if you have muscle issues until you get an evaluation and to tell you the truth, I feel so much better now that I KNOW. Not knowing for sure drives you nuts!!!! Go with your gut! As for Dr. Conway, I want to see him and check on my Pudendal Nerve. With 14 months of bad sit pain, that I still have, I want to see if a nerve block would help reduce any inflammation. I'm going to a local PT right now and the PT is trying his best to 'realign' my sacrum. Hugs, Chelle
