Guest guest
Hey Everyone, I am a 30 year old, female from Australia and was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in 2002 and took levo-thyroxine 100mcg 1 tab daily from then until March 2010 when I was switched to natural desiccated thyroid before my reverse T3 results came back (they took 8 weeks to come back!). Anyway - in mid May it was discovered I had an issue with reverse T3 as my reverse T3 level was above the normal range. Here are my results: 3rd March 2010 Free T3: 5.2 pmol/L (2.8-6.8) Reverse T3: 472 pmol/L (170-450) (I have many more results to post - should I post them all here? Or some here and some in the adrenals group?) This is how I worked out my ratio: 5.2/472 = 0.011 This does not seem right to me. I feel VERY silly for asking this question but how do I work out the ratio? And what is my ratio? Is it as bad as it seems? Thank you so much for your help. Guest guest
You rratio is 11 which is not good but I have seen worse. Adrenal labs sould be posted ot the adrenasls group, and Ferriitn and irn panels which I recommend on BOTH groups can post to both. Iron affects both thyroid (BIG TIME) and adrneals pretty much too. please read Nick's T3 website for a starter course on what we have found to work. http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ -- http://nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/
