will have to tuck that info away about your ears...I had a bout of pain in my ears for a while this fall as well that they didn't see anything wrong in there and it wasn't a come/go with the array of allergy symptoms I go through regularly. I was prescribed some oily numbing drops to see if it would help but of course it didn't and also gave me pimples in my ears that hurt even more. ugh. thanks for the info sharon~Dee

Hi Dee.... Trigeminal Neuralgia can cause considerable pain. Kate has it much worse than I do and has had surgery twice for it to decompress the nerves, or something like that. I just can't remember today. I know she had Gamma Knife surgery once for it. Mine usually doesn't cause a lot of pain--my pain is more moderate I think. But when it flares up I get a terrible stabbing through my ear. The prednisone helps ease it off. And, yep, I do get some bad headaches from the prednisone. thanks for the hugs! Sharon, I looked up the Trigeminal Neuralgia as I've never heard of it and omg, never heard of this and sure hope I don't go there, ugh. Is there a lot of pain for you beyond the strange sensations? cannot even imagine...how long will you take the prednisone? I didn't realize prednisone can cause headaches...full of surprises~ hugs and encouragement to you!Dee
