My son is 3 1/2 and mildly on the spectrum. He has been using Jackie who is a fabulous swimming instructor (she is definitely tough but very experienced). I would definitely call her and tell her your concerns with your son and if he's verbal, etc. We live in Miami Beach so I know she does sessions here. Her number is . She charges $25 per lesson which is very reasonable compared to the other instructors. Good luck!!
