Guest guest
Hi , I have heard of it and have actually used it as well. It is definitely a program I would recommend, as I did see significant improvement in the patients that it was used on. The reasoning behind the program as well as putting it into practice have to do with dealing with improving the way the sensory system works from the root, so its effects could be reflected in his performance in different aspects of his daily life. You would be surprised of changes you could notice in your son that go beyond doing the exercises themselves. I would highly recommend it Yael Gojman-Neer To: "deniseslist " <deniseslist > Sent: Tuesday, July 3, 2012 7:49 PM Subject: Astronaut Training Hi has anyone heard of or used the Astronaut Training Program in OT, if so what are your thoughts? Guest guest
Yes, Language Link in City and possibly Kids Spot in Hollywood. The good thing about this is it can be billed to insurance under O.T. where the Listening Programs and Masgutova Method, etc.. don't seemto be covered by most insurances. I understand it's not a substitution but may be good alternative for someone who doesn't have financial meansfor alternate therapies. Guest guest
ILS is covered by insurance as long as your provider is participating with your insurance. If they are not participating providers then you have to pay for it out of pocket and then file it with your insurance company yourself. Depending upon your policy, out of network providers are usually compensated at about 50-70%. Re: Astronaut Training Do you know ay ot in broward that use it?
