Guest guest
I'm on the regular Cytomel name brand. I'll try it sublingual. Do you know if it the energy it provides lasts as long when you take it that way? Or if I get a rush of enegry too quickly? Well, I guess I'll have to try it. Thanks. . > > Are you on regular T3 or Slwo release? Guest guest
I've wondered this myself. I tried both ways, sublingual and swallowing it, and didn't notice any difference at all in how strong the effect was or how long it lasted. > > > > Are you on regular T3 or Slwo release? Guest guest
Thank you Margery. Now I'm just wondering about this iodine issue. I have a supplement I really want to try that has 150 mcg of iodide in the form of potassium idodide and sea kelp. I guess if I only took one tablet, it would be 75 mcg/ day. Is this dangerous? It's all in multivitamin... Thanks, > > > > > > Are you on regular T3 or Slwo release? Guest guest
Hi : I would not take it, even though it's a small amount. I you posted you have Hashi's; Val said that even a tiny bit of iodine causes her Hashi's antibodies to skyrocket, from her post: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/message/28488 I also understand Iodine may increase the body's own production of T4, with an RT3 problem I'm trying to suppress T4 all I can. > > > > > > > > Are you on regular T3 or Slwo release? Guest guest
Margery, Thanks for that extra echo of caution. I am bummed... but I have read other articles about why iodine is bad... and I guess now I'll stay away. I am curious though to see what my iodine levels are. I hear that some people have hashi's BECAUSE their iodine levels are deficient.. and others who have no deficiency and go to the other extreme. Interesting. Thank you, > > > > > > > > > > Are you on regular T3 or Slwo release?
