Hi Collin,

My doctor had me on ALA and chlorella for two months

before I started having amalgams removed. I could

turn my tremors on and off with the chlorella (they

got worse when I was taking it). I was much sicker in

these months than before I started these supplements.

During this time I had urine tests which showed I was

not passing any mercury in my urine, so it is

questionable whether either of these will chelate

mercury on their own. I also had adrenal and thyroid

insufficiency which went back to normal after I

stopped the ALA and chlorella. Like you, I currently

have very few, very mild symptoms, but I was quite

sick while taking the ALA. The list of symptoms is

too long to list, but my thanks to everyone on this

list for getting me off the ALA and chlorella and on

the right supplements. I am almost well now! My

first filings are coming out tomorrow!

Thanks,

Dave

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the info. So your saying ALA might not work on its own ? It

should as everyone here is using it. I dont beleive ALA needs DMPS or

DMSA to work.

Ordered my hair test yesterday. Now the dentist

I find it interesting that your doctor had you on ALA and chlorella for two

months while you still had your amalgams -- and NO mercury showed up in your

urine.

It certainly makes me wonder whether ALA is capable by itself of moving mercury

outside the body.

Glad to hear you are feeling better now that you have stopped them.

TK--- we don't know the dosage, timing or testing procedure. urine

testing is also not informative unless done correctly as it only

pulls what Hg is available from the kidneys at that time which can be

none or a lot. ALA also excretes Hg primarily through the GI tract.

moving mercury outside the body.

TK--- it does and is the chelator necessary to remove Hg from brain

and organs, you may want to review the book and papers on it in the

files section if you need more info.

After I first got sick and could not figure what was going on I took a

greens product it had plenty of chlorella in it as many do. (I was

trying to raise my PH) I was in bed for 3 days with a fever and

pretty much flu like symptoms, weak, just overall sick. I would

seriously avoid chlorella as I don't see a rational reason to use this

product . In addition to contamination issues it is not a chelator any

more than eggs, onions, NAC etc are. (sulfur etc). This will mostly

likely cause redistribution.

Thanks
