Your hair test said you make excess adrenaline, so that is the likely cause of your excess sweating. Increasing GABA might help (by taking GABA as a supplement, or the drug gabapentin). Other drugs could also be helpful, probably benzodiazapenes. I suppose you could try anything sedating and see if it helps. --

Yes, that makes sense to me. I make masses of that stuff. Always anxious and react instantly to just about anything. I just don't have the cortisol to counter my adrenaline. But that doesn't seem to stop the adrenaline from pumping out. >Increasing GABA might help (by taking GABA as a supplement, Thanks . Any idea of the dosage and the best time to take GABA? Is it just to calm me and lower adrenaline? Kai.

I suggested trying GABA because the drug Neurontin (generic gabapentin) has apparently been used to reduce sweating (for example, in women with hot flashes). GABA should have similar effects. Andy suggests 100-1000mg in the book (p. 153). I don't feel anything from 250 mg, and 500 mg is perhaps a bit sedating. Your experience may vary. Might want to start with 100 or 250 and increase as needed. Maybe 3-4 times per day? Not sure. I'm sure there are other approaches. Excessive sweating is also called hyperhidrosis. You might want to google that term for more ideas. -- p.s. Also read p. 118 in Amalgam Illness. If you fit his description of the " sweaters " , maybe carbamazepine would help.
