I won't consider myself a true success story until I've been feeling good

consistently for several months and am able to wean off of HC/Florinef, but I'm

feeling the best I have in years lately so that's a huge success already!

It took me longer than 12 weeks on T3 only to feel consistently good. More like

9 months. But I'm sure that won't be the case for everyone! I ran into a low

iron issue that took a couple of months to resolve. I also had a couple of

setbacks along the way...such as running out of meds once and getting the flu.

But I started feeling better very soon after switching to T3 only...it was just

a roller coaster of good/bad days for a good long while.

One unique thing I've done over the past 3 months that may have helped was going

to a Gonstead-method chiropractor. It's different from any chiropractor I've

been to before (and I've been to several). It really focuses on healing your

spine instead of just " quick fixes " that need re-fixing every few weeks. And the

nerves that run through your spine affect every organ in the body. So some of

you may want to look for a Gonstead doctor in your area. I highly recommend it.

Right now I'm working on exercise, diet and tweaking my supplements to be the

best " me " I can be. I recently discovered a somewhat high blood sugar issue and

am waiting on some test results to see how bad it is...but am already taking

steps to hopefully fix it through diet and exercise. And hopefully once that's

under control and I've felt good for several months...we can start trying for a

baby. But I'm not in a huge rush like I used to be.

Now if I could just get rid of this darn acne...lol

Interesting! I hadn't considered that! I've been taking the weaning very slowly,

but perhaps I could speed it up a bit. What's the fastest you would recommend? I

just did my last decrease on Wednesday. I'm now down to 7.5 - 5 - 5 - 2.5 (20mg

total).

Thanks Val!
