Guest guest
I'm taking the Canary Club test today. The instructions advise no garlic, onions, sublingual hormones, etc. It also asks about glandulars, Isocort, DHEA...all of which I've been taking -- but not today. It mentions that the use of " oral troches may skew results for 3-70 days " I looked up the word 'troche'...not much help So I'm curious if there are supplements I should not take today, other than those spelled out. Anyone take this test have any comments? Maybe I'm overcomplicating this, but if I'm spending $140+ I don't want to screw it up Thanks, Bill

When we took the tests for Diagnos Techs they advised us that in order to get a proper reading we should be off all Adrenal Glandulars for 5-7 days and off all Thyroid glandular for 2-3 weeks. Also no licorice. Or Ashwaganha etc If you take the test now you will be getting an indication of how you are doing on your current treatment regimen. This can be valuable. If you stop it you will get a clearer idea of what is really going on, but you would have to might then choose another test later once you have added the supplements. If you are feeling better on you treatment regimen it may be a good idea to get the tests done one that. We decided to go off for the test so we knew how healthy we were without outside help. If they are not testing thyroid hormones then you should go off the Adrenal glandular and do the test 7 days later. Dean
