I can personally recommend Little Flowers of Hope. This special school has been

a Godsend for my daughter Johanna. She is diagnosed with autism and non-verbal,

with a hyperactive personality and a short attention span. Johanna is also a

very loving and intelligent 10 year old child and she has thrived under the

program that Amy and her associates have put together. She gets the one on one

attention that was sorely lacking in Broward public school and she is receiving

instruction on iPad-assisted communication. The whole staff has " adopted " her as

one of their own and treats her like family. In the past two years at Little

Flowers, Johanna has made some real progress in her ability to live successfully

and with happiness. The school is also linked to some awesome after school

therapies and activities which have been very beneficial to my daughter. I can't

say enough good things about Little Flowers of Hope.

I personally have never been to this school, but I know another mom who is sending her ASD child there and is very happy. For some reason, this school doesn't seem to advertise too much, so maybe they just want to focus on keeping on their program small and good, while other schools seem to want to rack in as much McKay money as they can and lose emphasis on the quality of the programming.Anyone interested should probably check this school out, though personally I would recommend that you see them when school has already started that way you can see the actual classroom.Good luck.From: walshed63
