Guest guest Posted December 19, 2008 Report Share Posted December 19, 2008 Thank God and the donor and Clarian Transplant Center for Kerry's double lung transplant! Kerry and I used to post messages to each other and we have talked on the phone several times. I was so happy to hear the news about her as I am the one who recommended my transplant center to her, and I met her and her family in Sep. at the lung support picnic at Methodist Hospital. I called her house this morning and found out she is doing good and yes it was the double. I forgot to ask who I was speaking with, but I suspect it was either her father or father-in-law. How wonderful she must be feeling inside to know she has a fresh start. MamaSher, age 70. IPF 3-06, OR. NasturtiumsDon't fret about tomorrow, God is already there! Kerry Kerry is sitting up in bed eating ice chips. Saturation is 90. No 02. SOOO happy. in a little pain. She got two young healthy lungs. is just so very happy. Lucian is still planning on seeing her when he goes up that way this next week. I told him to be sure to tell her we are all so very excited for her and praying her recovery is complete and speedy.More as I get it.
