TK--- this is a good dosage, the headaches are usually a good indication of redistribution and Hg toxicity you are probably mildly toxic & have some other problems you haven't addressed yet. I would suggest continuing chelating and addressing the other issues. The only thing doctors and hospitals tell me is possible > malabsorption problem, but will not investigate any further TK--- Western md's willl not do this for the most part because of the way the health system is set up and what they believe in, you either need to do it on your own or see an ND to help you look into this - I suggest you start on your own if you are capable and do some of the appropriate testing on your own. because x- > rays of small intestine look normal. TK--- lol - this is totally illogical on their part - malabsorbtion can not be determined from x-rays - only posssible bowel obstructions or physical deformities. The stress of dental work often 'creates' such issues. So you might be coping ok with mercury removal, but your metabolic health is in trouble and you need to support the thyroid and adrenal asap. Have you done proper temperature charting? http://www.livingnetwork.co.za/healingnetwork/adrenals_thyroid.html I would suggest that you take a break from chelation for a while as the stress of it will just further hurt these glands (if you feel worse you can always start it up again). Or consider lowering your dose. Do a saliva hormone test through DiagnosTechs and get on some support. Low thyroid and adrenals will cause poor HCL secretion, poor digestion and poor absorption. Both are linked with insomnia. Low thyroid will give you low temps and can create eye pressure issues. If you are having these problems it is typical of mercury poisoning, as mercury targets these glands. You are taking a high dose of ALA and DMSA and that might be moving more metals than you can keep up with. Yes, you can have mercury poisoning without fulfilling the counting rules. What is you mercury level? Have you got low lithium? What are your Na/Mg and K/Ca ratio's? You can send me the DDI hair tests if you'd like us to take a look. See instructions in the files section on how to post tests and other tests here http://www.livingnetwork.co.za/healingnetwork/hairtest.html Dean
